Honey Sriracha Glazed Meatballs

    ground turkey , lean
  • 1 cup
    panko breadcrumbs , whole wheat
  • 2
    egg
  • 0.25 cup
    green onion , chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon
    garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon
    salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon
    black pepper
  • 0.25 cup
    sriracha
  • 3 tablespoon
    soy sauce , reduced-sodium
  • 3 tablespoon
    rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon
    honey
  • 1 tablespoon
    ginger , grated, fresh

    garlic , minced, cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon
    sesame oil

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, green onions, garlic powder, salt and pepper until well combined.

    Shape mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls (about 40 meatballs) and place spaced apart on a baking sheet lightly sprayed with cooking spray.

    Bake meatballs until browned and cooked through.

    While the meatballs bake, combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking continuously.

    Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.

    Serve immediately over brown rice and top with green onions and a few sesame seeds.
